Advisory (cross-section)

Previously, advisory and consulting projects were handled through Robex International’s planning and consulting subsidiary, Strategic Planning Group (SPG). SPG served a diverse client base, including the U.S. Department of the Navy, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Florida Housing Finance Agency, and several institutional and Fortune 500 companies. The subsidiary was later acquired by its management team through a leveraged buyout. Robex International continues to deliver a broad spectrum of consulting services directly.

Hotel Feasibility Study, including market analysis, financial analysis, and investment package | Northern Territory, Australia | for two proposed resorts consisting of 2,800 hotel and villa rooms, a 500 slip marina, and 290,000 sqft of upscale retail and convention facilities.
Gulf Coast Strategic Homeporting Project | U.S. Department of Navy | Socioeconomic analysis portion of an Environmental Impact Study (EIS) for the Navy's proposed five-year, $500 million Homeporting plan for the Gulf of Mexico coast.
Lochloosa Lake Development | Alachua County, Florida | development plan study for a 21,574-acre planned community in central Florida.
Military Facilities Planning | Regional Plan - Jacksonville Area Naval Facilities | Development planning in a joint venture for the Navy's plan for the Jacksonville region, which includes SUBASE Kings Bay, the largest military peace-time construction.
Northeast Florida Regional Planning Council (NFRPC) | St. Johns County, Florida Project | consulted for the NFRPC to assist in their review of projects requiring the Development of the Reginal Impact Statements (DRI).
Florida Horseman's Park DRI | Sumter County, Florida | consulted for the state-required DRI for the planned development of a $70 million track in Sumter County, Florida.
Trident Atlantic Basing | Kings Bay, Georgia | SIte selection between over 70 locations/sites for the relocation of 1,900 militaries and 200 civilian personnel.
Development of a comprehensive Industrial Targeting Model.
Various Historic Preservation projects/studies.
Management and administration of various Community Development Block Grants (CDBG).
Slovenian Government Leadership | consulted senior members of the government in anticipation of their independence, providing constitutional and financial planning advice. Several on-site meetings included members of the Slovenian academia, parliament, and cabinet.
The municipal government of Piraeus, Greece | extensive study of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) management, including research and analysis of Greek practices and cost of MSW management. Joint ventured with a national U.S. waste management company.
